  1. Removal of Protection: All protective coverings, such as films on windows, kitchen cabinets, appliances, and correx on floors, are carefully removed. This step requires precision to avoid any accidental damage to the surfaces beneath, such as scratching glass or cabinetry.

  2. Washing Down Surfaces: All surfaces, including mirrors, shower walls, cupboards, and doors, are washed with a detergent solution, such as warm water mixed with mild soap. Special techniques are employed to ensure dust doesn’t spread during cleaning. Operatives are trained to use damp cloths in controlled strokes and to regularly rinse the cloths to maintain cleanliness. After washing, surfaces are dried with a separate cloth to eliminate any moisture.

  3. Removal of Adhesives: Excess adhesives left behind on windows, bathroom tiles, or kitchen units are carefully removed using white spirits applied with a cloth. This ensures a smooth finish without damaging the surfaces.

  1. Methodology: The same techniques used in the Builders Clean, washing, vacuuming, wiping, and mopping are repeated. However, there is no need for protection removal at this stage, as that has already been addressed in the first phase.

  2. Objective: The Second Clean focuses on ensuring the property is free from any dust or residue left behind by trades during snagging. The result is a professional-level clean, ready for client walkthroughs or inspections.


Sparkle Clean (Phase 3)

The Sparkle Clean is the penultimate stage and is performed after the property has been left dormant or minimally occupied. It’s intended to provide the final “wow factor” before handover.

  1. Dust Removal: Over time, even an untouched property can accumulate dust. The Sparkle Clean addresses any residual dust or cleaning needs.

  2. Freshening Up: Beyond cleaning, air fresheners are often placed in the property to give it a welcoming feel and ensure it smells fresh for the final inspection.

  3. Final Details: Any minor issues, such as leftover smudges or marks, are carefully resolved. This clean guarantees the property is visually flawless and ready for presentation to the client.


Occupational Clean (Phase 4)

The Occupational Clean is the final step in the cleaning process and is conducted just before the property is handed over to the end-users for occupancy.

  1. Polishing: All metallic, stainless steel, and glass surfaces, such as radiators, faucets, and mirrors, are polished to a gleaming finish.
